How I Style A T-Shirt For Spring/Summer
It’s finally feeling like Spring and I could literally jump for joy over putting away my winter coats!
I love the feeling when you’re so ready to swap out your wardrobe from one season to another and you have all these outfits planned in your head made up of clothes you have yet to be able to wear (just me?)
Any way, warm weather means keeping it light, but you still want to be on trend!
That’s why I’m showing you what trending pieces I’m loving right now and how I style them with a t-shirt for Spring and Summer. A huge thanks to Banyan Tree for allowing me to browse their wonderful store to help style my fave #GRLPWR white t-shirt!
ADD A BAG
One of my favorite combos is something a little bit fancy paired with something casual. I basically did that twice here, a t-shirt with a the CUTEST bag and a skirt with tennis shoes. Natural looking bags either beaded or woven have been so huge lately and I’m loving the versatility of it! A bag like this takes a t-shirt look to the next level but could also give a more formal look a natural beachy feel.
PAIR IT WITH A PRINT
Who else has been saving snake skin print everything to their Pinterest boards but hesitant to take the leap? TAKE THE LEAP! Animal prints are so popular and there are so many ways to wear them! I am a huge fan of joggers so I was drooling over these snakeskin print pair! Tucking in or tying up a t-shirt with joggers is probably the absolute comfiest way to look put together. You could also wear a t-shirt with an animal print bag, belt, or shoe!
TIE IN A SCARF
Scarves have been having their moment for a while now but there’s no secret why! You can wear them in so many ways: in your hair, around your neck, and I’m a huge fan of tying one onto a handbag! But with a new season comes new colors and prints. This lovely floral silk scarf was the perfect size and totally versatile! A scarf can easily add interest to your t-shirt and jeans.
A new season is the best way to get re-inspired about your closet! These are just a few ways you can incorporate this Springs trends into you usual t-shirt and jeans. I love t-shirts but they absolutely do not have to be boring.
